The second quarter of 2022 saw strong performances from the top 5 film and television apps on the Android platform in Colombia. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Disney+ experienced a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at roughly $6.3K in late May. Weekly downloads initially surged to around 98K in mid-April but settled around 65K by the end of June. Active users saw a steady rise from approximately 1.25M to 1.42M throughout the quarter.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies also showed positive trends, with weekly revenue reaching a high of approximately $5.4K by the end of June. Downloads peaked at about 75K in mid-April before stabilizing around 59K. Active users increased from around 299K to 322K over the quarter.

Star+ saw its weekly revenue rise to about $4.7K by the end of May. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 65K in late May before settling at approximately 28K by the end of June. Active users grew from around 347K to 477K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Paramount+ achieved a weekly revenue peak of approximately $3.4K by the end of May. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 30K in late March before stabilizing around 25K by the end of June. Active users increased from around 64K to 70K throughout the quarter.
